2014 - 2018
In the Southwest of Ethiopia, unexplored dense rainforests lie clouded in the mountains. 4Forests members led several BINCO expeditions to survey the birds, big mammals, reptiles and amphibians that live hidden under the dense forest canopy. The project areas include Sheka, Belete-Gera, Nono Sele and Gura-Ferda forest.
Besides several academic papers and biodiversity reports, additional output is in the pipeline, including a new frog species description.
